Human cloning?

I’m writing a paper JUST on human cloning. Not cloning organs, or animals or anything else. I’m writing a persuasive essay and I’m against it. So, I found a lot of websites with reasons for/against… I want new, fresh ideas to have a better paper.

So, if you’re FOR human cloning? Why?
If you’re AGAINST human cloning? Why?

Thanks guys!

why not if they could make a headless me witch i heard possible if i ever need new organ dont need to die becuase i can afford to buy one

  2. Cloning Therapies

against it because its so in human and its freaky
and plus people wouldnt be original and it would mess up peoples generics if it got big

  3. Genetic Biotechnology

You can clone flesh, but you can’t clone souls. I’m a firm believer that the first successful human clone will be the antichrist…

so no, i don’t really think its a great idea.

  4. Genetic Testing Kits

    AGAINST.

there is no reason to clone a person (perhaps kill it for organs)
    expensive
    identity issues on the future

  5. Genetic Testing Center

I’m against it because when human cells are cloned, they can be years old before they are born.

  6. Genetic Assessment

im FOR human cloning. because even if i and the rest of the world was against human cloning that wouldnt stop the leaders of the world from doing it, which im sure they already have. … that would only make them do it in secret… which has probably already been happening for a while… but you didnt hear that from me.

  7. Genetic Biotechnology

Well, I am both against it and for it. I’m for it because, when you clone a person, you can genetically engineer it differently. Say, to have a larger brain, or faster reflexes. I am against it because, there is room to make horrible genetic mistakes and people may abuse the cloning process.

  8. Genetic Testing Center

what are the reasons why your against it?

I’m one of those people stuck in the middle. I’m against it, but then again I’m also for it. I’m for it because if a loved one died.. how great would it be to have a clone? or would it just be a painful reminder of what you’ve lost? it really depends if the clone has the same personality and memory as the original. I’m totally against it if they’re only similarity would be their looks.

  9. Genetic Assessment

I am for it. Lets say you were to get a clone of yourself when you are 30, then the clone will grow and when you are in your 50’s the clone will be in its twenties. So then if you have a bad liver, heart, kidney, wrinkley skin, etc… then you could just take those organs out of the clone and have them put into you, allowing yourself to live much, much longer! Also military wise clones can benefit us enormously! We can take someone who is very athletic like the winner of ufc, and clone them billions of times and then genetically engineer them to be faster, stronger, and smarter, and then have billions of the most perfect soldier imaginable.

    Yes and No

No because that would be like humanity creating a god-like figure out of themselves and I don’t believe its right for us to generate life like that.

Yes because, think of Stephen Hawking – could we clone him and he wouldn’t have the disease, but he would still be a genius? Of course, this would be after he dies because we wouldn’t want to replace the actual man. But you see what I mean? We could heal people that are an important part of society. That sounds mean, but you understand?

  11. Genetic Biotechnology

For – This is a technology that can greatly benefit the human race. One aspect of it is that we don’t even need to create the whole person, we can clone organs and transplant them into hosts who need those organs. This way, it will always be a perfect match

  12. Genetic Exam

The point is moot, the technology is in place and it is just a matter of time before someone with enough money and vanity makes a copy of themself. I don’t see any way to prevent it.

  13. Genetic Testing Center

First off I am Very against this Topic. Cloning is not perfect. Test Subjects are known to come out with defects and other abnormalities.2nd what kind of life would this person lead? It would be like raising a baby Since they would have no prior knowledge.Everything about is just wrong, animals i think is more understandable.

  14. Genetic Assessment

There are many, many important reasons to be for and support the technology of human cloning. There are only a few rational reasons not to.

As far as anyone is allowed to know, no one has successfully cloned a human being. The technology is, however, at hand. The problems seen in early attempts at animal cloning can be overcome and resolved by making use of the characteristics and select biochemistry of cancer cell cytoplasm. The explanation is too complicated and complex to get into here, trust me though, I know what I’m talking about.
Let’s assume that all of the technological problems related to early animal (human) cloning has been resolved and it takes only 1 or 2 embryos to ultimately arrive at a successful cloned human being; why should we? Well, you wouldn’t do it to save another’s life by way of organ transplant. Not a good reason. But what if you knew for a fact that the cloned person would ultimately grown into the exact same person that donated the DNA (genome) that resulted in the clone? In other words, if you had yourself cloned, the resulting clone would come into the world in the usual fashion and be identical to you back when you were a baby. The clone would have your genes; your temperament, your tendencies. Over time as the cloned person matures, you and that identical individual would become more and more a like. At some point, you and your clone would likely become the same individual all together. One person sharing two bodies in time and space. It would be a perfect way to extend your life for a very, very long time into the future. Fictional! Not at all. Human twin studies show exceptional commonality between individual’s even when separated at birth and raised in completely different environments with different parents. There is a thing in advanced physics called particle entanglement. It’s complex and can’t be fully explained here except to say that it is a way for a subatomic particle to be in two places in space and time at the same moment in time. It is believed by some that human twins are somewhat entangled this way because of their common origin (the fertilized egg). Now, if we can find that in human twins whose embryogenesis, by the way, is significantly different from that of human cloning, then how much more commonality can we expect between a cloned person and the actual person cloned (the genomic donor)? They would eventually become as one, in my opinion. I am absolutely certain that successful cloning experiments will demonstrate this. There is a far greater quantum entanglement in cloning than observed with human twins. It is the quantum entanglement that makes all the difference in the world. This is exactly what the governments around the world already know and, they certainly don’t one the common people to know and understand this.

Eventually, human cloing might be used for raising the dead and giving them a new life. One thing is absolutely certain: we human’s cannot begin to conquer the Universe until we have fully conquered our own biology. Human cloning is but one way to achieve that feat, in my opinion.
